The mission of Tusweca Tiospaye is to promote, strengthen, and revitalize the Lakota language
Tusweca Tiospaye works toward meeting our mission through Lakota language classes, providing language learning materials to families, traditional song and dance programs, traditional games, traditional foods programs, traditional ceremonies and the Lakota Dakota Nakota Language Summit
In 2008 Tusweca Tiospaye created the Lakota Dakota Nakota Language Summit to unite all Lakota Dakota Nakota (Sioux) reservations, reserves and communities in the United States and Canada in efforts to revitalize our language and culture.
